Husky Experience Toolkit

Husky Experience Toolkit

Designed to help students make the most of their time at UW, the toolkit is a series of articles encouraging students to challenge themselves, explore their options, and integrate all they are learning — the Husky Experience is so much more than a major!

Articles are delivered to students every week of the academic year through the Husky Experience tab on MyUW; they address four interconnected dimensions of the Husky Experience: Know Yourself, Know the World, Make Your Way, and Weave it Together.

Creating a Husky Experience is an opportunity unique to each student, but they don’t have to start from scratch or go it alone. We are a team of UW staff members who spend time collecting suggestions — from students, faculty, and other staff — on how to help all students successfully create the kind of Husky Experience that will serve them well.

The toolkit is curated by Michaelann Jundt of Undergraduate Academic Affairs, Janice Fournier and William Washington of UW Information Technology, and Katy DeRosier from the Office of the Provost.

How it works

Relevant articles are highlighted each week on the MyUW home page to provide timely advice throughout the academic year, giving all students easy access to these ideas and resources. There is also an archive which can be browsed independently.

New articles and resources are added on a yearly basis.
